Meet the Teacher

 

Hi! My name is Britney Lane and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year!

I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2009 with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I obtained my English as a Second Language endorsement in 2016, and I am currently working toward my Master's degree in Reading Education.

I have been teaching at Kennedy School since 2010 and feel very fortunate to work in a community that values education and puts students at the forefront of learning. I am excited for the year ahead and to share my enthusiasm for learning with your child!

 

Be assured that I will do my best to make this school year an enjoyable time for you and your child, but also a time for real learning. The skills that we practice daily in kindergarten are building blocks for your child’s future success in life.
